Community Events and Interest Groups

The following are recurring community events and ongoing interest groups. Contact us for more info about these groups or if you have an idea for an interest group you’d like to see!

  • eResources Fusion Friday – Tenn-Share’s Electronic Resource Committee (TSERC) invites you to join us for eResources Fusion Friday session, monthly on the first Friday at 10am CT /11 am ET. This interest group will be a space for those who work in eResources to gather, discuss issues, collaborate, learn from each other and stay connected!
  • Digital Collections Interest Group – Hosted by the Digital Library of Tennessee Committee, this group meets quarterly and explores topics of interest for those working in digital collections or folks who have an interest in learning more about the creation, use, and promotion of these resources.   • Intellectual Freedom Discussion Group – Join TNLA’s Intellectual Freedom Committee and Tenn-Share (and your library colleagues from around the state) for informal discussion and support around intellectual freedom challenges in your community. This meeting will be held monthly on the 2nd Thursday at 2pm CT / 3pm ET.
  • Music Librarians Interest Group – A monthly meeting for music librarians to discuss topics of interest and pursue collaborative electronic resource purchasing opportunities. Contact us to added to their next meeting.
  • Resource Sharing Community Events – Quarterly events hosted by Tenn-Share’s Resource Sharing Committee for folks doing interlibrary loan and resource sharing in Tennessee. Learn more and register for their upcoming events here.
