Learn & Discover

Learn & Discover is a state-wide online learning program. Sign up, meet other librarians in the state, and learn about new things!  You’ll meet up with librarians around the state and talk about current library issues.

For 2011, we'll be watching and/or participating in webinars on a variety of topics related to our theme: 21st Century Library.  We'll be looking at webinars and tools that will help you find partnerships, funding and ways to connect with your community.  We'll also be looking at some of the hardware that's come along - ebook readers, tablets, etc - and how they've affected libraries.  As always, if you have any ideas or suggestions, let us know!

In the past, we've tried out fascinating web sites for music, photos, podcasts, and books, plus exciting new online programs from the State of Tennessee.  Rounds 1, 2 and 3 used the online social network, Tenn-Share Ning.
