Accepting nominations/volunteers for TSERC

We are now accepting nominations for one at-large position on the Tenn-Share Electronic Resources Committee. This committee works to identify and coordinate group purchases of electronic resources in TN. It also serves as an advisory group for TEL.
The at-large representative can be from any Tenn-Share member library. The term is for two years, from July 1, 2012 to July 1, 2014. Most of the work required will be accomplished online, with two in-person meetings per year (one at the Tenn-Share DataFest in Sept in Nashville, the other at TLA). Gathering input from libraries, reviewing databases, and contacting vendors are the main tasks.
Self-nominations are encouraged. Send an email to the databases coordinator with your name, library, and a brief (few sentences) statement of why you want to serve and/or what expertise you bring to the committee, by Friday, June 8th. The Tenn-Share Board will review the nominations and determine the final make-up of TSERC.
