Tenn-Share 2013-2014 dues increase
For the first time in five years, Tenn-Share will be increasing its dues rate for member libraries with budgets above $125,000. In 2013-2014, the new dues chart will be updated to reflect the new fees. The Tenn-Share Board of Directors and Membership Committee carefully considered the mission of Tenn-Share and how it can make strides in reaching its Strategic Plan goals. Schools, school districts and libraries with budgets below $125,000 will continue to pay the same rate as 2012-2013. Tenn-Share will send invoices to members for the renewal cycle, beginning in March, for membership from July 2013 through June 2014. Membership payments are due on September 15, 2013.
Membership in Tenn-Share often pays for itself with cost-saving subscription agreements for all library types, such as at least 6% savings on OCLC WorldCat, 45-50% savings on Movie Licensing USA, 10-20% on Films on Demand and Mango, and significant savings on STAT!Ref. Tenn-Share also delivers the value of professional development at DataFest and Fall Conference, and networking.
Tenn-Share continues to innovate, with its newly launching Firefly courier, intent to broaden its eBooks negotiations, and discussions about hosting a state-wide catalog. We appreciate your membership and input as we “help Tennessee libraries deliver efficient, effective library services.”
