Serve on a committee - Contact the Chair of a committee with which you would like to work.
Help develop a database consortium - If your library subscribes to an electronic resource and you think a group subscription would provide better rates, contact DeAnne Luck. You can help out by identifying and recruiting member libraries for group purchases that save everyone time and money.
Volunteer at annual events - DataFest and Fall Conference are BIG events that require lots of volunteer support pre-event and on the day of the event.
Submit a news item - Send news of interest to Tenn-Share member libraries to the Webmistresses for inclusion in Tenn-Share News, or post your news on the Tenn-Share listserv.
Share your special talents, skills, expertise* - Contact Penny Frere, Tenn-Share's Executive Director, if you have a special talent or skill you'd like to: a) use on behalf of Tenn-Share as an organization, or b) share with other Tennessee librarians as a workshop, webinar, conference program, etc.
* Current needs:
Someone with archival expertise who could advise Tenn-Share on the creation of a records retention plan
Someone with graphic design expertise to help with programs, brochures, etc.
Contact Sue Maszaros if you are willing to serve on the TEL (Tennessee Electronic Library) Training Committee or to assist with the Committee's efforts.
