Sponsorship Opportunities and Benefits

Sponsors needed!

DataFest features vendors presenting in 30-minute sessions.  Vendors introduce, demonstrate, train or share real-life examples of INNOVATIVE ways their product has been or can be used to enhance service to library customers. Vendors also present on current or forthcoming products that could lead to cooperative buying through Tenn-Share.
  • There will be tracks during the day so that vendors won't conflict with others addressing the same audience, i.e., there will be one vendor each for academic, K-12, and public librarians presenting at the same time. We will do our best to ensure that there is something for everyone throughout the day.
  • Space on the schedule is limited.
  • Session times are assigned on a first paid, first served basis, meaning the first vendors to pay are given their preferred times (e.g., early morning), and others will be placed in remaining slots.
  • Vendor scheduling preference will also be given to vendors that have librarian customers assisting with the presentations. If you know of a library that is doing something unique or exceptional with your product, find out if a staff member will join you in talking about how it is best used.
School Library Collection Fair features school-library related vendors exhibiting. All vendors have TABLES, and do not present. Space in the facility is limited. Collection Fair vendors should ignore the sponsorship and presentation information and questions unless you would like to be a sponsor at a level above $250.

Our organization’s leadership and members thank all of our vendors for the support over the years and hope that you can join us again this fall.

Sponsorship: We have several types of sponsorships, in addition to the regular vendor payment. Sponsors may also host Dine-Arounds and Tenn-Share will help facilitate with promotion and restaurant selection. Sponsorships may be monetary or in-kind (bags, design or printing services for our programs and signage, gifts for attendees, etc.). Monetary sponsorships include the venddr payment.

Dine-Arounds are an opportunity to Thursday evening after DataFest to meet and mingle with other library professionals while sharing information about timely themes.  As a host, you'll enjoy the company of your fellow Tenn-Share members at a local restaurant of your choice around a topic of the host's choice. Attendees sign up for a Dine-Around when they register. Typically, Dine-Arounds are hosted by Tenn-Share Board members. Each attendee is responsible for their bill and gratuity, unless the vendor specifies that it will pay. The group meets in the front lobby of the Nashville Public Library at/around 5:00 p.m.
