Genealogy research is quickly growing in popularity. Today’s librarians need to be equipped to help their patrons navigate the online genealogy sources that are available.  Kayce Butler, a reference librarian at the Tennessee State Library and Archives, will present a basic overview of Heritage Quest and highlight Tennessee specific records on Ancestry. Topics will include U.S. Federal Census records, Freedman’s Bank Records, Revolutionary War Records, Tennessee vital records, and Tennessee Supreme Court Cases.  Join us as we explore these online treasures that are waiting to be found!
